@rossk Thanks for the tip! It looks like there might be some useful bits that could be used. The cross-referencing is the most challenging part of markup for contracts—specifically, having a cross reference to a section number or specific paragraph rather than just to a section name.

Such references are easy in LaTeX, but I’m still trying to figure out whether there’s some version of markdown that makes such cross references easy and intuitive when typing in plain text.
