@Mattfinlayson Thanks. I’d be tempted to do something exactly that simple. But I’ve found that Spotlight doesn’t always find apps that I have installed. As a result a single “stuff” folder probably is too cluttered to rescue me from such situations.

My current setup has the following folders:

• connect
• consume
• create
• utilities
• play
• testing
